Sleeping on a corner in Winslow Arizona!
Earl's Motor Court is said to be the oldest and only classic Route 66 motel that was still in operation up until just recently. Earl's slice of Americana has survived due to the resurgence of Historic Route 66, & perhaps the Eagles. This neat and well-kept, typical classic style Route 66 Motor Court is reminiscent of the type built all along the Route 66. This in its hay-day motel on Route 66 is truly a must see for any who is looking for an investment on historic Route 66. With 10 rooms, laundry, storage, ample parking, office and manager's quarters this gem of Route 66 history has the potential to be a great investment. According to an article by John Bianchini dated 11/10/2006 in the Navaho Hopi Observer the original neon lights were restored. The Neon text typical of a Mother Road motel of the 50s/60s, reads: T.V., Tubs, Showers, & Refrigeration. Also, the obligatory Neon Arrow pointing to the office, & No - Vacancy.
Earl's Motor Court can be found on Yelp, Trip Advisor and countless other sites!
