Looking for a real log cabin? This historic ''Quigley Cabin'' was built by the Mead Family in 1956 using Ponderosa Pine logs harvested from the local forest. The cabin has: a vaulted ceiling; rock fireplace, which has native stones, crystals and fossils embedded; hardwood floors; granite countertops; stainless steel appliances; custom tiled shower; thermopane windows; red metal roof and a storage area. The staircase to the loft provides additional sleeping quarters. Outside there are flagstone patios front and back with a large stone firepit in the rear. Nestled beneath the Mogollon Rim, the area is surrounded by the Tonto National Forest. A square footage of 1019 includes the loft area not counted by the county. Lunch served!!
