The home with the ''Wow Factor'' you've been looking for! Spectacular red rock views embrace you as you enter this luxuriously appointed residence. Its ideal West Sedona location is in easy reach of shopping, great restaurants, theaters, educational opportunities, and outdoor adventures. All in a pleasant, quiet, and surprisingly private setting. This brilliantly designed, Torel-built home makes maximum use of its soothing and comfortable interior living space to provide the perfect chef's kitchen, a luxurious master suite with its own patio, two lovely guest bedrooms, and a spacious study that could serve as a 4th bedroom. Outside, the beautiful landscaping envelopes a delightful, secluded patio with a kiva fireplace. Come home to your marvelous, tranquil Sedona sanctuary. What do the current owners of 35 Whitetail Lane love above their home?
Let us count the ways. Among the key attributes of a home are Location, Construction, and (in Sedona and the Alps) the View. In our opinion those aspects all receive an A+.
The home is in West Sedona, away from the congestion of Uptown, and allowing easy access to local stores, theaters, restaurants, hiking trails, and roads out of town. We can walk to a movie, pick up groceries, or stroll around our Crimson View neighborhood.
It was built in classic Santa Fe style by a respected local contractor in 2004. We have been impressed during our ten years in the home by its excellent construction: no structural problems, good insulation from external heat or cold, and virtual lack of repair. And since we believe in maintaining things, we have added a new furnace and A/C (2020), had the exterior painted (2016), and the roof constantly checked. The interior plan has served us well, and we love the beautiful travertine floors.
The "wow factor" is important in Sedona, and one needs only open the front door to appreciate the impact of looking out the huge windows revealing the Red Rocks of Sedona, including the iconic "Coffeepot" formation. Just taking a walk in the neighborhood can provide Arizona Highways type of visual delights, from cloudless blue skies to phenomenal sunsets, to cosmic night visions in Sedona's Dark Skies.
Our move is predicated upon factors having zero negative responses to Sedona or our wonderful home. As our past and current realtor told us in 2012, 35 Whitetail Lane is a "gem of Sedona."
