So first, rest assured that all the hard work has been done so you don't have to do it & we have the ''receipts'' & a marriage counselor to prove it. We moved walls, dug up concrete (& the back yard), tore out drywall, redesigned, reframed, rewired, rebuilt & replumbed. While we were at it, we replaced the windows, AC & pool equipment. We dealt with the city more often that we would have liked, pulled permits & passed all inspections as required. We submitted endless paperwork to the nice folks on the HOA board so we could turn this ''Fixer'' into ''Fabulous'' without incurring a single violation or warning letter. Be sure to click the ''more' button. 10 months and 14 dumpsters later the ugly duckling is now a proud swan, worthy of its own HGTV show (I'm calling it Flippin' Hell) and the home, in an ideally located, north Scottsdale gated (read "safe") community, and is now available. We took an outdated floor plan and created a stunning open-concept dwelling ideal for both entertaining and today's realxed lifestyle. There are now 4 ensuite bedrooms (how did they do that?) with separate office and spacious powder room with plenty of square footage to swing the proverbial cat (apologies to PETA and cat lovers). The voluminous principal suite is truly separated (very nearly divorced) from the guest/kid's rooms and there is even the perfect place for your Peloton or yoga mat. We think you will like the glass cabinet in the oh-so-pretty custom closet to display your Jimmy Choos and you could host a cocktail party in the oversized principal bathroom - not that you need to (or should because that would be weird) as the generously proportioned great room will be THE venue for friends and family to gather (every..single..holiday). 32' of sliding glass doors now lead to the just-pavered back patio and fully renovated, sparkling, negative edge pool and spa. Well, it will be sparkling when they add the water in a few days (water now added). The dining area has a built-in custom wine display with fabulous herringbone brick accents and glass barn doors which is as functional as it is beautiful! The kitchen is Pinterest-worthy with soaring cabinetry, a 10' island and I, for one, wouldn't mind being tied to this kitchen sink LOL. Yes, the appliances are Wolf/Subzero (duh!) including the iconic red knobs of the 48" dual fuel range which, by the way, has a price tag not dissimilar to sending your kid to college for a year but a much better investment. You'll want to spend time in the double-entry pantry with plenty of shelves for your small appliances which should, hopefully, keep your air fryer and toaster off the kitchen counter (yeah!). The pantry leads to a mud room for whatever people do in a mud room in AZ then through to the laundry room. We have included a handsome washer and dryer so you can do a load, if you need to, on day 1! This timeless labor of love is replete with carefully curated (by yours truly) lighting and plumbing fixtures, white oak flooring and bathroom tile designs you won't see anywhere else. There are interesting details around every corner. The exterior also received a much-needed facelift to the delight and gratitude of the neighbors. The new iron double entry door, brick accents, enhanced landscaping, new coach lights and bougainvillea adorned trellises in the courtyard have transitioned what was the least inspiring house in the 'hood (it was pink) to a model home - which is ironic as it was built on what was the old model home parking lot back in the day. It now proudly sits on a 1 acre + corner lot opposite the community's lovingly tended green space and tennis court. Your dog, if you have one, will make lots of new friends. If you don't have a dog perhaps you should consider adopting one as the shelters are currently over capacity. One last thing. It's not gray.
