The Mission floor plan appealed to us because of the versatility of arranging the rooms the way we thought would work for us. I loved the kitchen that allowed for lots of cooking space and an open feel to it for entertaining especially when having company. We had custom cabinets built for a butler's pantry which gave us extra cooking and storage space as well. We added a 4-foot extension to the kitchen nook creating a spacious family room space for watching TV or relaxing rather than using it as a kitchen nook. We also extended the master bedroom and did some custom upgrades to the spacious master bath. We enjoy the great room when holidays roll around for that big Christmas tree or a party; but most of all it's nice to have a quiet space with no TV where I can relax with my kindle. With the large picture windows, we enjoy the lighted backyard and the palm trees swaying in the breeze or we sit on the patio and hear nothing but the waterfall. It's so peaceful. Our home is so bright, open and spacious. The 3-car extended garage has given us lots of extra storage and hobby space as well. My favorite time of the year is Spring when all the citrus trees are blossoming. We have been so lucky to have wonderful neighbors from the day we moved here.
