It's 6am and today feels especially special; you're playing hooky. You lace your shoes, leash up Max, and you're out the door. It rained last night and you can smell the desert and fresh cut grass as you walk the greenbelts. You stop on a bench and watch the world leave for work, basking in your day off. You make it home, as the front door opens the southern sun blasts light onto your amazing floors, illuminating the high ceilings and open space. You can still smell the coffee from your spouse leaving before you got home. The home is bright with sun filled hallways. You pass through the double doors of your master bed, turn on the shower, pop out back through the side door and listen to the doves hooing. Minutes pass, you're lost in thoughts, grateful for today. Oh shoot! the shower!? :)
